So lately I have been getting a lot of iPhone apps via the App Store because I received some gift cards for iTunes for Christmas. So I thought I might share some of my favorites that I have gotten.
1. Darkroom (Premium) - Formerly known as SteadyCam... great app. Utilizes the Accelerometer. I just started using it and I can already see the improvements in my photos with it.
2. Twitterific (Premium) - Not much difference between the premium and the basic in my opinion but I got it anyways with some of the gift card money. I still use other Twitter applications on the iPhone as well but this is my favorite. Twinkle is also another good one.
3. Ocarina - Fun app. I still have not learned how to use it like some others but I am starting to get some tabs off the Smule site so that I can learn to play some songs.
4. TapDefense - Nice game. Reminds me a little bit of Rampart from way back on the original Nintendo.
5. Lose It! - Actually a free app but a nice one. Great app for those who want to start a diet with a goal of losing some weight. You program in your start weight and update it as you go. It lets you input the foods and drinks that you have had through out the day so that it can calculate the calories you intake as well as letting you add the excercises that you perform to tell you how many calories you burn.
Those are just a few of the apps that I have downloaded and enjoyed. Definately check them out if your an iPhone user.

Excited for classes to be starting next week. I don't know why I'm excited for school but lately I have been really looking forward to school. Hopefully this kind of motivation will keep up so that I can finish my degree finally.

Wow I just watched a video demo of the Palm Pre and I have got to say that I am impressed. I can't say that I'm ready to give up my iPhone just yet but this could definately be a good product to look at if your not wanting the iPhone.
Check out the video.

The power supply on my desktop just burned out. Now I'm going to have to make a trip in the morning to get a new one. Using an old laptop that is slow and probably will overheat and shut off any second. Anyways its been a very slow week this week at work.
Well still waiting to see if I'm going to get my grant or not. It will determine whether I get my MacBook Pro sooner rather than later. So what did everyone think of the MacWorld Apple Keynote? Nothing really too exciting in my opinion. I was glad to see that they finally updated the 17" MacBook Pro but I just can't afford one of those. Plus the 15.4" is easier to travel with.
I was really hoping to hear that copy & paste and Picture Messaging was going to be on the iPhone. Oh well hopefully they are working on it.

Happy New Year Internet! Hope everyone had a safe and fun new years. As you can probably tell by the lack of updates here that I have been pretty busy with work. The holiday season has definitely been a long one. Thankfully it is over and now things are going to slow down at work so I will have more time for updating here and get focused on school again. I have registered for the next semester trying to get my degree done so that I can finally start my career in Web Design/Programming. School is taking a little longer than I would have hoped for but I am happy to have finally found what I want to do with my life.
By they way for those that may have been wondering I have decided to get the MacBook Pro 2.8ghz Duo Core with 320gb HDD 7200rpm model. I decided why not especially when I'm already going to be spending that much just go ahead and get the best one that is available. So right now I'm just waiting for some grant money to come in and use what I have left for the semester on the MacBook Pro.
So what are some of your new years resolutions? Here are a few of mine that I made.
-Spend more time with family.
-Work on getting a job in the Web Programming/Design field. (so that I can finally get out of retail)
-Go rock climbing more this year.
-Stop drinking sodas as much and drink more teas. (ordered my first batch of teas from Adagio)
-Spend more time outdoors
-Take more pictures
-Start a Web Start Up or work with a Web Start Up
-Finish the year in A's in every class (got A's last semester)
Thats just a few. They are a little broad I know but I know that I can accomplish them this year.
